Time to write

I’ve designated today a writing day, because I’ve been distracted lately. I’ve been so busy bouncing around the internet looking to see how Riptide is doing, trying to maintain a Facebook presence and finding new outlets for the book, I haven’t been able to center down and just WRITE. I need to change that. I need to find some balance and put those rusty time management skills to work. I need to focus. I need to sit down with the laptop and simply write. Especially since there’s an old project and characters screaming for my attention. And I need to get some things worked out for Riptide’s sequel. I’ve got 2 competing storylines running around my head for that one, and I’m trying to figure out how to put them together (or if I should), because while I want to share the rest of Max & Dani’s story with everyone, Amphitrite has other ideas and believes her story should come next.

When I decided to self-publish, I didn’t think anyone beyond my family and a few friends would be interested in my stories. Imagine how surprised I was to find out other people were interested. I want to take a minute to say thank you for all of you who have bought Riptide. I’d love to hear what you think!

Okay, I have to stick to my time budget. Time to get going.

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

I write paranormal stories, usually YA with a dash of romance added in. I have been a bank teller, a school photographer, a news photographer, and a special education teacher.
