I know I’m late with this post. I’m still trying to find my rhythm. I thought I’d figured out how to balance writing/editing with the internet stuff, but then surgery happened. And then summer. Threw me off. COMPLETELY. This is the first summer in many years that I pretty much didn’t write anything. Sure, I was prepping Riptide for publication (these mystery typos kept popping up in places I hadn’t even had to make any revisions!) and I revised the next installment of the Chosen series for a charity anthology that will benefit the American Cancer Society (Correct me if I’m wrong, Ant.) But still. Summer was always my NaNo. Time to get back to it.
Riptide is live at B & N, Amazon and Smashwords (formatted for Kindle, Nook, Kobo, iPad, your phone if you have Ereader apps, etc.)! I’m so happy to finally be able to share this whole story with you! There’s a coupon at Smashwords that makes Riptide free (but only until Sunday). Just enter the coupon code XS22X at checkout.
Atlantis, shapeshifting mermaids and boyfriend drama… what more could you ask for? Tell your teens! Tell your friends!
As I said, now it’s time to get to work on the next story. Max has been hovering in the back of my brain, asking what I have planned for him and Dani (he’s a bit more assertive than she is). But I’m not telling. Not yet. Amphitrite is clamoring for me to tell her story. And Faith is feeling a little neglected. Not to mention all the other ideas that come to mind while I’m working on a story. I think I have to learn how to juggle multiple projects. And the lesson begins… now!
